Open access publishing

The University Library System promotes open access and supports researchers in the dissemination of their research work in accordance with the University Policy in force since 1 January 2018.

The open access support service for publications and research data management is aimed at the University's academic staff and identifies, for each department, support contacts in the libraries.

The Library of Economics and Management “Walter Bigiavi “ also supports the open access and open science movement by offering appropriate technical support to academic staff affiliated to the Department of Economics (DSE) or to the Department of Management (DISA), in particular by:

• offering advice on identifying the most suitable venue for publishing and for open access dissemination of research outputs, in collaboration with the Research Projects Offices of the Department of Economics (DSE) and the Department of Management (DISA);
• supporting deposit in the institutional repository IRIS (see: depositing in the institutional repository), including checking and validating the consistency of deposited versions, the licences assigned, and correct metadata creation, with the support of AlmaDL, the Digital Library of the University and APPC – Research Evaluation and Third Mission Unit.
